An Invasion of Privacy [Policies]

We’ve watched with some schadenfreude as the greater tech industry has flied into conniptions retrofitting their privacy standards to comply with GDPR.

RezScore saved ourselves a lot of work by simply having a strong user-focused privacy policy from the outset. We’re proud to have a lengthy, unblemished record of fighting for privacy rights. We know your career aspirations are highly personal, and we can only operate by continually earning your trust.

To briefly review the strict privacy safeguards RezScore has in place:

  • Any resume you upload to our system is promptly deleted, unless otherwise requested or specified.
  • We never transfer your data to a third party without explicit opt-in consent.
  • We actively reply to all privacy requests we receive.

Of course, we are a US-focused company so it’s largely immaterial, but we’re proud that our internal standards are already stricter than those maintained by GDPR. We’re grateful to see stronger consumer protections becoming the norm.

We’re also a bit shocked at the sheer number of desperate emails we’ve received from various tech services — every frantic email on the subject most likely indicates a company had been abusing your privacy rights and is frantically scrambling to become compliant.

We’ve always believed the tech industry can and must do better by its users. We credit our continuing success to the trust we’ve built, and we are grateful to continue serving you for time to come.
