This scores a very strong 2/3, perhaps even 3/3, on our Success Hacking CDE Framework.

1. Compounding Benefits 🤷 or 👍

The case that this hack could provide benefits that compound over time is somewhat weak. Some would argue that better sleep leads to better productivity, but I would argue the opposite. The upside comes almost entirely from your ability to squeeze more productivity out of your most productive hours. If this works, then the compounding benefits are clear.

2. Diffuse Benefits 👍

This hack provides you two easy ways to win. Either you get more sleep, or you get your busy work knocked out during otherwise unproductive hours.

3. Easy to Implement 👍

This takes no additional effort to add to your schedule, so I give this high marks for being easy to implement.

Generally speaking, the ability for you to match certain types of work to certain times of day is a critical skill. For instance, it is quite common to try to work on busy work right after lunchtime when all the energy moves from your brain to your digestive system. However most of you cannot nap at work, so doing busy work at nighttime adds in a diffuse benefit.
